The Montana Department of Livestock (MDOL) is reminding brand owners time is winding down to get those brands rerecorded with the Department. All brands need to be rerecorded by December 31, 2011.
The 2011 brand rerecord began on January 3, 2011. Since then the majority of the state’s 55,000 active brands have been rerecorded.
This week Russell Nemetz talked with the MDOL’s Brands Division Administrator John Grainger about the December 31, 2011 deadline.
