Sprinkler-irrigated crops mini field day focus at Powell Research and Extension Center
Conservation tillage, soil quality and nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer requirements under sprinkler-irrigated sugar beet, bean and barley rotations are subjects of a free mini field day at the Powell Research and Extension Center Tuesday, June 21.
The one-hour session is at 9:30 a.m. The Powell Research and Extension Center is at 747 Road 9, Powell.
“This mini field day gives crop producers a chance to share early results,” said Jeremiah Vardiman, University of Wyoming Extension agriculture and horticulture educator.
UW scientists, UW Extension educators and producers can learn from one another’s experiences, he said.
