Montana’s Congressman, Denny Rehberg, hosted a panel discussion in Lewistown a short while back. The focus of the panel was on public transparency and property rights in the wake of secret discussions by the Department of Interior (DOI) to designate millions of acres in Montana as National Monuments.
Along with Congressman Rehberg, the panel included Ron Poertner and Matt Knox of the Missouri River Stewards; Leslie Robinson, Phillips County Commissioner; Art Kleinjan, Former Blaine County Commissioner; Dana Darlington, landowner and rancher, Big Sandy; Lee Cornwell, Owner, Cornwell Ranches, Glasgow; Mike Ereaux, Rancher, President of Phillips County Stockgrowers; Johnny Schultz, Vice Chair, Montana Public Lands Council; and Sean Gerrity, President, American Prairie Foundation.
The discussion was recorded and uploaded to YouTube in 10 segments. They will play in progression here:
