This week members of the American Sheep Industry Association are in Reno, Nevada for its 150th Anniversary Convention. The Northern Ag Network’s Lane Nordlund is at the convention and spoke with ASI Executive Director Peter Orwick about this year’s record attendance.
There’s a lot of enthusiasm amongst ASI members-both young and old-about the future of the U.S. sheep industry. One of those members is rancher John Helle from Dillon, Mont. whose family has started its own wool textile company.
