The America Prairie Reserve’s Expansion Continues

by

The American Prairie Reserve (APR) has completed its purchase of the historic 48,000 acre PN Ranch in Central Montana. The ranch which has a history that dates back to the early 1800’s when Montana was still a territory brings APR’s current number of deeded and leased acres to 353,000.

This week the Northern Ag Network’s Russell Nemetz spoke with APR President Sean Gerrity about the recent purchase of the PN Ranch.

He explains how long APR has been interested in purchasing the PN Ranch.

Gerrity says cattle do graze their pastures but eventually it will be all bison.

And he explains if public access will be granted on the PN Ranch for activities like fishing, hunting, hiking, etc.
