Welcome to the 2015 Regency Acres Annual Production Sale!
First and foremost, I would like to say congratulations to all the cattlemen and women out there. 2014 finally brought the payout you deserve for all the hard work and effort you put in to raising the beef that feeds the world. Cheap feed base combined with all-time record prices for not only feeder cattle but also replacement females and slaughter animals has made for one of the best years to be in the business. A mild start to the calving season is just the icing on the cake!
Secondly, I would like to thank all past customers for their support in our program. Seeing the same faces in the crowd year after year that have been supporting our program since long before I knew what a cow was means more to us than anything we do.
The bulls selling this year have once again been through the obstacle course and passed every test. They have been fertility tested, carcass ultrasounded and performance tested. They were developed on a high-roughage ration consisting of corn silage, chopped hay and corn designed for 3 lbs. of gain. This allows for natural development and growth while still testing their feedlot performance. They have been freeze branded and given two rounds of foot rot vaccine. The heifers selling have been freeze branded and will have their yearling shots prior to selling. They are the mates to the bulls selling and all are registered or can be registered.
