Trade a Big Issue during NCBA Spring Legislative Conference

by

Trade was one of the biggest issues discussed last week in Washington, DC during the NCBA’s Spring Legislative Conference and what any disruptions would mean for the U.S. beef cattle industry.

Kent Bacus is the NCBA’s International Trade Director and talked with Russell Nemetz about NAFTA, China and other key export markets for U.S. beef and why they are so important to U.S. cattlemen and women.

According to the U.S. Meat Export Federation, exports accounted for nearly $300 per head in 2017.
