UW Extension offers beef artificial insemination classes

            A hands-on school teaching beef artificial insemination techniques and management strategies is this December in Riverton offered by the University of Wyoming Extension.

            Each session is 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The days are Thursday, Dec. 8, Monday, Dec. 12, Thursday, Dec. 15, and Monday, Dec. 19, at the Fremont Center at the Fremont County Fairgrounds, said Chance Marshall, UW Extension educator.

            There is a charge for the classes. For more information, contact Marshall or Kim Collins in the Fremont County extension office at 307-332-2363.

            “Class size is limited to 20 people, and payment must be received in advance to secure a seat in the class,” said Marshall. “This class is available to anyone interested.”
