The American Lamb Board (ALB) needs your response to the lamb sustainability survey and have extended the deadline to July 31, 2012 in order to accommodate as many participants as possible.
The survey takes about 30 minutes to complete and asks about your specific type of operation including flock management and community involvement. ALB has worked hard to make this survey easy to complete and yet meaningful when the results are tallied.
The results will help build positive messages for use when the industry faces sustainability issues such as our impact on the environment and role as responsible neighbors in our communities.
Preliminary results show that there are many practices being used across the industry that will strengthen the reputation of the industry with consumers.
But, the story won’t be credible unless we get more producers and feeders completing the survey.
We hope you can take several minutes now to respond. Click on the following link to begin – https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=Ur8_2fd0CZB2auhARwtxd57Q_3d_3d . Your responses will remain anonymous.
When talking to other lamb producers, if they haven’t received an invite, please send them this link https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/AmericanLamb to take the online survey.
For those producers who would like to fill out a paper survey and send it to us, please contact us at sustainability@americanlambboard.org or (866) 327-LAMB.
