The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking public comment on a report that provides additional information on the sage-grouse analysis for the proposed Gateway West Transmission Line Project.
This report will provide new information regarding the sage-grouse habitat equivalency analysis (HEA) for the project which was not complete at the time the draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) was released. Comments are requested by August 3.
The HEA serves as one part of the Framework for Sage-Grouse Analysis for Interstate Transmission Lines, developed by the BLM, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Idaho Department of Fish and Game, and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.
