How Many Horses It Takes to Fill 2 Train Cars

                Frontier photographer, Evelyn Cameron titled this photograph “A Montana Car Load”.  In her diary she explains her title more completely; when she notes that it took two railroad cars to bring these horses to the Crown W Ranch in eastern Montana in 1902.
