It's exciting bringing Professional Rodeo to Lewistown and an action-packed two days is anticipated in 2016. Scheduled for Wednesday & Thursday, July 27 – 28, the rodeo plays host to the premier events of Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, Steer Roping & Bull Riding! We have increased the prize money and many improvements, including a full-function rodeo scoreboard and all new pens and bucking chutes, have been added.
The Thursday night rodeo will feature the always popular Ladies' Calf Dressing, including calcutta of teams, immediately following the rodeo. Local teams compete to see who will be the fastest to catch and dress their calf – don't miss the fun! The Pat Vanek Memorial Mutton Bustin' again takes place just before the rodeo, at 6:30pm.
