Producers participating in the Average Crop Revenue Election (ACRE) Program are reminded that Sept. 1, 2011 is the deadline to submit 2010 production reports for planted acres as required by the USDA Montana Farm Service Agency (FSA).
The production reports impact eligibility for potential ACRE payments in the current year and also impacts future years’ benchmark farm yields for covered commodities, Acting State Executive Director Dick Deschamps said.
For 2010 enrolled ACRE farms, the deadline to establish benchmark farm yields and reporting production for the 2010 crop year is September 1, 2011.
