HURON, S.D. – The 2015 South Dakota State Fair is just around the corner. Fair goers are reminded that any grandstand tickets purchased by Wednesday, Sept. 2 will include free gate admission. Tickets purchased during the fair will not include gate admission.
Tickets are still available for all of the grandstand acts at this year’s Fair. The Red Wilk Construction CBR Bull Bash will take place the evenings of Wednesday, Sept. 2 and Thursday, Sept. 3. Music starts Friday, Sept. 4 with Kenny Rogers and the John Conlee Show. Saturday, Sept. 5, Legend Seeds and the State Fair welcome The Band Perry and opener Logan Mize. On Sunday, Sept. 6, C&B Operations and the State Fair welcome Huey Lewis and the News with opener ZZ-3 to the stage! Monster Trucks and the Soccer Ball Demo Derby will wrap it up on Monday afternoon.
“Offering free gate admission on tickets sold before the fair starts gives fairgoers an excellent opportunity to save money,” said Peggy Besch, State Fair Manager.

The 2015 South Dakota State Fair will run from Thursday, Sept. 3, through Monday, Sept. 7. Channel Seeds preview night will be Wednesday, Sept. 2. This year’s theme is “Sew it.Grow it.
